BK Hariprasad, member of the Karnataka Legislative Council, condoled the deaths of at least 11 people in a stampede during RCB’s maiden IPL title victory celebrations outside Bengaluru’s Chinnaswamy Stadium. He said, "It’s extremely shocking and regrettable." He added, "The condition of some of the injured in the stampede is serious." Following the stampede, the victory procession was cancelled.
