BSP chief Mayawati urged her party workers to extend the same support to party's national coordinator Akash Anand as they have shown her. She added that Anand, her nephew, is putting in his full effort to strengthen BSP. Mayawati had earlier declared Anand as her political successor, but later expelled him over alleged indiscipline. He was reinstated into BSP afterwards.
