Stanford University said on Tuesday it has laid off 363 employees. The university cited budget constraints that it attributed to the federal funding policies of US President Donald Trump. Trump administration has threatened to cut federal funds for universities over pro-Palestinian protests, climate initiatives, transgender policies and diversity, equity and inclusion programs.
