Astronomers have discovered a Star Wars-like system, dubbed TOI-2267, where three Earth-sized planets orbit twin suns about 190 light-years away. Detected using data from NASA's Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite, TESS, it is the first known binary system with transiting planets around both stars. The finding challenges long-held beliefs that such systems are too unstable for planet formation.
