Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said, "Starlink has received the Letter of Intent, which means that they're very close to getting a licence to operate in India." Currently, only Airtel and Jio have satellite licences with limited spectrum, Scindia added. "National/international satellite players will receive equal rates of spectrum after they get approval from IN-SPACe," Scindia further said.
