Police resorted to a lathi charge on protesters who pelted stones during protests after Friday namaz in Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly. The demonstrators had gathered outside the Ala Hazrat Dargah and the residence of Ittehad-e-Millat Council (IMC) chief Maulana Tauqeer Raza Khan, holding 'I Love Muhammad' placards, PTI reported. Heavy security has been deployed at both locations, it added.
