A first-year student of the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) University in Odisha's Bhubaneswar died by apparent suicide inside his hostel room, in this third such incident this year. Identified as Rahul Yadav from Chhattisgarh, the deceased student was studying computer science engineering, police said. UGC earlier launched probe into the earlier two suicides.
