Students from Rosario RC LP & UP Schools under EWKHD Mairang, and Nongspung Presbyterian UP School under SDSEO Nongstoin, harvested fresh vegetables. After classes, students learn to grow crops, including spinach, beans, and mustard leaves. Across Meghalaya, more than 80% of schools now grow vegetables for their mid-day meals through student-led gardens, according to The Better India.
