Two pregnant teachers from the College of Horticulture and Forestry in Thunag in Mandi were carried for kilometres on foot through damaged terrain by students and staff after floods cut off road access. Their heroic efforts ensured timely medical care, following which one gave birth to a baby boy on July 8, the other to a girl on July 12.
