A new study presented at the European Association of Nuclear Medicine Congress 2025 found that women with more metabolically active belly fat are at higher risk of developing aggressive endometrial cancer. Researchers discovered that it's not the amount of fat but its activity, how much glucose it burns, that influences cancer growth and spread.
