Tamil actor Vishal confirmed stunt artist Raju's tragic death on July 13 during a car toppling stunt on Arya's film set, directed by Pa Ranjith. Mourning him on X, Vishal wrote, "So difficult to digest... he has performed so many risky stunts... such a brave person." He also promised, "Will definitely be there for his family's future."
