Railway Ministry has revised emergency quota (EQ) request timings following its decision to prepare reservation chart eight hours before train departure. "EQ request for all trains leaving between 12:00 am...and 2:00 pm should reach EQ cell up to 12:00 pm on previous day of journey," it said. Ministry also clarified that requests received on the same day won't be entertained.
