Rajya Sabha MP Sudha Murty was threatened by a scammer posing as an employee of the Department of Telecommunications after she refused to share personal information. The scamster told Sudha, "Your mobile number is being used to broadcast obscene videos...the number will be disconnected by 12 noon if you do not comply." An FIR was registered on her complaint.
