A list NDTV obtained from inside Gaza showed 1kg of sugar, which usually costs about ₹50 in India, being sold for ₹4,900 in the war-struck region. A kg of tomatoes, salt and flour (which cost about ₹25, ₹24 and ₹60-100 in India respectively) are being sold for ₹1,106, ₹491 and ₹1,474 in Gaza. Cooking oil currently costs ₹4,177 in Gaza.
