Former India head coach Ravi Shastri opined that Washington Sundar could become the long-term all-rounder for India in Test cricket. He said, "I always loved Sundar. When I saw him on day one, I said he's the man." Shastri added that Sundar is just 25 years old and should have played a lot more Test cricket.
