Sunil Chhetri, who came out of retirement from international football earlier this year, has confirmed he has retired from international football again. Chhetri said he reversed his retirement for AFC Asian Cup 2027 qualifiers, adding, "If there were no qualifiers...I wouldn't have come back. When mathematically we couldn't qualify, I was happy telling coach [about retirement], and he understood."
