Mahesh Jethmalani, representing Karisma Kapoor's kids in a ₹30,000-crore dispute, said it's "suspicious" that their father Sunjay Kapur was trying to get them a Portuguese citizenship in May to avoid inheritance tax on overseas properties. He said this is so because according to his wife Priya, he'd devolved all overseas properties to her in March. "It's little surprising," Jethmalani said.
