The Supreme Court has acquitted a man who was accused of matricide, killing of his own mother in the year 2010. The accused preferred an appeal challenging the judgment of the Bombay High Court, Aurangabad Bench, by which his conviction was upheld for the offence of murder under Section 302 of IPC.
