Following CJI BR Gavai's request, Supreme Court has recalled its order which directed an Allahabad High Court judge to be removed from hearing criminal matters and be made to sit with a senior judge. The HC judge had earlier treated a civil dispute as criminal case. Earlier, 13 judges wrote to Allahabad HC Chief Justice against the top court's order.
