Switzerland-based right-to-die organisation Dignitas' Founder Ludwig Minelli has died by assisted suicide at the age of 92, days before his birthday. Minelli started his career as a journalist and later studied law. Noting ECHR's ruling recognising the right to decide the time and manner of one's own end of life, Dignitas stated Minelli left a "lasting influence" on Swiss law.
