Ahmedabad Crime Branch has busted a Syrian gang which was extorting money from mosques by posing as Gaza victims. Police have arrested a Syrian national identified as Ali Meghat Alzahar, who arrived in India on a tourist visa and was living a luxurious life using money extorted from mosques. His three accomplices have gone missing after police action.
