Taiwan dispatched naval, air and land forces to its coast in response to China's live-fire drills on Wednesday. "Eleven PLA aircraft, 14 PLAN vessels and 2 official ships operating around Taiwan were detected," Taiwan said. It also accused China of "blatantly violating international norms", saying, "We've monitored the situation and responded." China didn't confirm the drills.
