UNESCO world heritage monument Taj Mahal disappeared behind thick smog amid a rise in pollution levels in North India, as winter season approaches. Pictures of the Agra monument from Thursday showed tourists walking towards the Taj Mahal, where visibility dropped due to smoky fog. Agra recorded an AQI of 193, reports said while citing pollution control board's data.
