Taliban fighters allegedly hung the pants of captured Pakistani soldiers in several Afghan cities as a 'symbol of victory' after recent Pakistan-Afghanistan clashes. The soldiers' weapons were also kept on public display. Tensions erupted after Pakistan launched airstrikes in Kabul in a bid to target Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) strongholds, after which Taliban killed 58 Pakistani troops.
