At least 12 Pakistani soldiers were killed after Afghanistan's Taliban retaliated against Pakistan's airstrikes in Afghanistan. The Afghan military has also reportedly seized control of several Pakistani posts along the border. The fighting reportedly broke out in the Bahram Chah district of Helmand province, a volatile area near the frontier.
