Taliban led-Afghanistan government is going to appoint its first diplomat to India in November since the group’s return to power in Kabul in August 2021, The Times of India reported. A Taliban spokesperson also praised India for delivering over 16 tonnes of medicines to Afghanistan to combat vector-borne diseases like malaria and dengue. The spokesperson called India a "reliable partner".
