Tamil actor Powerstar Srinivasan was arrested by the Delhi Police on Wednesday in connection with a ₹1000 crore loan fraud case. According to reports, Srinivasan received a commission of ₹5 crore from a businessman, in exchange for a promise of arranging ₹1000 crore loan for them through financial institutions, but the promise was never fulfilled.
