In FY 2022-23, Tamil Nadu received ₹1637.12 crore CSR funds from 2517 companies. The top three CSR spenders spent ₹58.78 crore, ₹56.63 crore, and ₹38.81 crore respectively. Top three areas of focus for CSR programmes comprised education, healthcare and environment where the companies spent ₹856.98 crore, ₹437.32 crore, and ₹138.24 crore respectively.
