Tata Motors is set to acquire the Italian truck maker Iveco for $4.5 billion from Exor, its majority shareholder-investment company of the Agnelli family, reports stated. This reportedly marks Tata Group's second-largest acquisition, and largest ever for Tata Motors. The deal involves buying Exor's stake and launching a tender offer for the remaining shares, excluding Iveco's defence business.
