PM Narendra Modi announced that GST reforms, which were undertaken this month to reduce GST slabs to just 5% and 18%, will continue to be undertaken. "We brought GST in 2017 and strengthened the economy. We brought GST reforms in 2025 and will further strengthen the economy," he said. "Tax burden will keep reducing as economy gets strengthened," he added.
