TCS dismissed a UK media report claiming that Marks & Spencer ended a $1 billion contract following cyberattack-related failures. TCS said the M&S service desk contract referred to in the report underwent a regular competitive tender process, and the retailer had decided to work with other partners "much before the cyber incident in April 2025". It termed the report "misleading".
