Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced a salary hike for around 80% of its workforce, effective September 1. This comes days after the company said that it will lay off 12,000 people or 2% of its workforce as part of efforts to become "future-ready organisation". Eligible associates up to grade C3A and equivalent (freshers to mid-level) will receive the hike.
