The Labour Commissioner in Pune has summoned TCS over a complaint filed by the IT union NITES, accusing the company of unlawful terminations and layoffs. The union claimed TCS forced around 2,500 mid-to-senior employees in Pune to resign. It has urged current or former TCS employees who believe they faced wrongful removal or denial of dues to file formal complaints.
