A temporary teacher, Laxman Barse, was allegedly killed by Maoists, who dragged him out of his home in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district on Wednesday evening. This is the fifth murder of a temporary teacher, known in Chhattisgarh as 'Shikshadoot', since September last year. Six months ago, Maoists had allegedly murdered Laxman's brother on suspicion of being an informer in Pegdapalli village.
