A controversy has erupted after a school teacher punished schoolgirls for coming late to school due to Navratri fasting in UP's Hathras. Bajrang Dal workers reached the school and created a ruckus, following which police and officials intervened. The students said they had informed the teacher that they'd be late because of fasting and puja but he still punished them.
