Former India wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik opined that team management may not be considering Shreyas Iyer in the near future, including for T20I World Cup 2026. "Shreyas has done everything and more a player can do," he added. "I'm assuming that Gautam Gambhir has certain players he is looking at who are delivering, who have delivered results for him," Karthik remarked.
