A Delhi-based app developer bought the 'JioHotstar' domain, hoping to sell it to Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries following JioCinema and Disney+ Hotstar's merger. In an open letter posted on the domain, the techie sought £93,345 (over ₹1 crore) from Reliance for the domain to fund his goal of studying at Cambridge University. The techie claimed Reliance denied his request.
