A 19-year-old man was allegedly tortured in police custody and was forced to drink water from toilet in Meghalaya's East Khasi Hills district. The mother of the victim, Mildred Jyrwa, has filed a complaint with SP Vivek Syiem, demanding justice and accountability. The teenager was taken in custody in connection with a brawl involving another youth a few days earlier.
