Suryakant Yeole, a now-suspended Tehsildar had issued eviction notice to Botanical Survey of India (BSI) which is a long-time tenant of land in the land deal linked with Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar's son Parth. Pune District Collector Jitendra Dudi said the notice was "illegal". Notably, Parth's firm reportedly bought ₹1,800-crore land for ₹300 crore.
