Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma’s son Prateek Dev Varma was arrested, and let out on bail, for allegedly threatening a Tripura MLA in Agartala. The Agartala police arrested Prateek and three others on 2 September for allegedly threatening Tripura Motha Party (TMP) legislator Philip Reang inside the MLA Hostel at the New Capital Complex.
