Rail connectivity between Telangana and Maharashtra is set for a major boost with two new Vande Bharat trains, one linking Hyderabad and Pune and another on the Secunderabad--Nanded route, cutting travel time by up to three hours. The popular Secunderabad--Pune Shatabdi Express may also be replaced. With these additions, South Central Railway will operate seven Vande Bharat services.
