CCTV footage showed devotees thrashing a temple priest within a temple premises in Uttar Pradesh's Fatehpur. According to the footage, the incident occurred on June 15 at 8:30 am when the priest was offering Prasad. A devotee reportedly became angry with the priest for taking two extra laddoos from the Prasad leading to a verbal altercation which soon turned violent.
