A man named Syed Ali ran his car over his landlord Anil Chavan in Mumbai's Baiganwadi after the latter repeatedly asked him to deposit the remaining ₹1.5-lakh with him. Chavan had rented his apartment to Ali for ₹6-lakh deposit, 75% of which Ali had already paid. Ali was arrested after Chavan suffered serious injuries and filed a police complaint.
