Tesla has shut Dojo after the chip design unit reportedly lost 20 employees to Dojo's former Indian-origin head Ganesh Venkataramanan's chip startup DensityAI. Dojo's current head Peter Bannon will be quitting while other workers will be reassigned. "It doesn’t make sense for Tesla to divide resources and scale two quite different AI chip designs," Tesla CEO Elon Musk said.
