Producer TG Vishwa Prasad opposed the worker strike which demanded a 30% hike in wages from the producers. Prasad called the workers "unions mafia" and sent a legal notice against the strike. In turn, the Telugu Film Industry Employees Federation (TFIEF) declared it will not work on his productions until a court rules on the matter.
