A woman in Thailand has been accused of allegedly seducing multiple senior Buddhist monks into sexual relationships and then blackmailing them for large sums of money. The woman named Wilawan Emsawat was arrested on Tuesday. At least nine abbots and senior monks were cast out of the monkhood in the case for allegedly violating the celibacy rule for Thai monks.
