Thailand has announced plans to start direct charter flights to Meghalaya by December 2025. The announcement came during a tourism promotion event in Shillong attended by the Thai Ambassador and Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma, aiming to boost eco-tourism and cultural ties between Thailand and Northeast India.
