Upcoming Thane Internal Ring Metro project is set to begin construction next month. This 29-kilometre corridor will create a loop around the western side, linking significant residential, business, and transport hubs. The ₹12,200 crore project will be managed by the MMRCL, with 20 elevated and 2 underground stations, improving connectivity from the Ulhas River to Sanjay Gandhi National Park.
