Thane's Mira Road market has been shut in protest after MNS workers slapped a 48-year-old sweet shop owner multiple times for not speaking in Marathi. The shopkeepers are demanding justice for the man. The Mira-Bhayandar Police have registered an FIR against seven persons, issued notice to three of them, but have not made any arrests so far.
