US President Donald Trump said the decision on whether Gaza should be fully occupied "is pretty much up to Israel". His remark came after reports claimed that Israel was mulling to completely occupy Gaza militarily despite objections from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Israel currently occupies about 75% of Gaza and exercised total control over it till 2005.
